The unemployment rate for 15 to 24 years olds, which is the ratio of unemployed to the total of those employed or looking, is equal to 37.1%, up 0.7 percentage points from the previous month and 5.0 points from the previous year.
The number of inactive individuals aged between 15 and 64 years increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month (+39 thousand units). The inactivity rate stood at 36.1%, up 0.1 percentage points month-to-month and a decrease of 1.2 points on an annual basis.
