Spain Trade Deficit Narrows in November


The Bank of Spain reported a trade deficit for Spain of €1.41 billion in November of 2012, down from €2.67 billion in the same month of 2011.

This performance took place in a context of decline in imports, recorded at €1.82 billion (-6.1% year-on-year). Exports remained essentially unchanged at €1.97 billion (-0.6 year-on-year). 

The accumulated deficit of 2012 was posted at €24.62 billion in November 2012, down from €37.69 billion in the same period of the previous year.
