Meantime, household consumption grew 0.4 percent (0.5 percent in Q4) and fixed investment rose 0.9 percent (1.1 percent in Q4) while government expenditure growth was steady at 0.5 percent. Year-on-year, the economy expanded 2 percent after growing by 1.7 percent in the previous period.

On a monthly basis, industrial production increased by 1.9 percent.
