Congo Interest Rate at 14.00 percent


The Democratic Repubic of Congo's central bank remained it's key interest rate unchanged at 14 percent on May 12th, in an attempt to curb rising inflation. Annual inflation rate was last recorded at 36.3 percent in March, well above the central bank's target of 4.2 percent.
