Croatia GDP Annual Growth Rate at 2.90 percent  
Croatia's gross domestic product advanced 2.9 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2016, following a 2.8 percent growth in the previous period, according to preliminary estimates. Household consumption expanded at a faster pace (+3.4 percent vs +3.1 percent in Q2) while growth slowed down for government expenditure (+2.1 percent vs +2.5 percent in Q2) and fixed investment (+2.9 percent vs +6.5 percent). Meanwhile, net external demand contributed positively, as exports rose 6.3 percent (+4 percent in Q2) and imports advanced at a slower 6 percent (+7.3 percent in Q2). On a seasonally adjusted quarterly basis, the economy expanded 1.7 percent.
