Consumer prices in Croatia increased 0.9 percent year-on-year in January of 2017, following a 0.2 percent rise in a prior month. It was the highest inflation rate since September of 2013, mainly driven by rising prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.5 percent vs 1 percent in December) and transport (5.9 percent vs 1.5 percent).
