Estonia Producer Prices Change at -0.90 percent
Producer prices in Estonia fell 0.9 percent in September of 2016 over the same month in the previous year, as compared to a 1.3 percent drop in August. It was the 33rd straight month of decline and the smallest fall since January, mainly driven by mining and quarrying (-13.2 percent) and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (-7.5 percent). In contrast, cost rose for water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (+3.4 percent) and manufacturing (+0.1 percent). On a month-on-month basis, producer prices grew by 0.1 percent, after a 0.2 percent increase in August.
