Estonia Producer Prices Change at 3.90 percent
Producer prices in Estonia rose 3.9 percent year-on-year in February of 2017, faster than a 1.5 percent rise in January. It was the fifth straight month of gain and the fastest since October 2013, driven by a surge in cost of electricity, gas, stream and water conditioning supply (10.0 percent from -13.9 percent in the prior month) and a faster increase in cost of manufacturing (3.8 percent from 3.2 percent). In contrast, cost of mining & quarrying fell 5.0 percent (from -13.9 percent). Cost remained unchanged for water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation services. On a monthly basis, producer prices were flat, following a 1.0 percent rise in January.
