On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased 0.2 percent, after being flat in November. In 2016, prices fell 0.2 percent on average.

In contrast, output increased for electricity, gas, steam (+34 percent vs +13.3 percent) and at a slower pace for mining and quarrying (+1.3 percent vs +7.6 percent). On a monthly basis, industrial production increased 9.6 percent.
