It is the highest reading since July of 2007, as the improvement was observed for total demand (14 from 10 in February), export orders (14 from 5), production (26 from 24), selling prices (9 from 7), export orders (25 from 20), total demand (25 from 24) and employment (20 from 15).

Slovenia Producer Prices Change at 1.90 percent


Slovenia's producer prices rose 1.9 percent year-on-year in February of 2017 from a 1.3 percent increase in the preceding month. It is the highest producer inflation since January of 2012, as prices advanced faster for manufacturing (2.1 percent vs 1.5 percent in January) and mining and quarrying (1.1 percent vs 0.7 percent). Moreover, prices declined less for electricity (-2.4 percent vs - 4 percent). Cost of water supply fell 0.9 percent (the same pace as in January). On a monthly basis, output prices increased 1 percent compared to a 0.6 percent rise in January.
