Ecuador Inflation Rate Slows in September

Consumer prices in Ecuador rose to 0.72% year-on-year in September 2025, easing from 0.81% in the previous month.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages registered the most significant annual deceleration (0.61% vs. 1.25% in August), followed by public services (3.14% vs. 3.60%), and hotels and restaurants (1.23% vs. 1.27%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.08%, down from the 0.31% increase recorded in the previous month.
