Exxaro Resources Limited is a diversified resources company. The Company has business interests in South Africa, Europe, Republic of the Congo and the United States. Its segments include Coal; Ferrous; Titanium dioxide (TiO2) and Alkali chemicals, and Other. Its coal operations are mainly situated in the Waterberg and Mpumalanga regions, and are split between coal commercial operations and coal tied operations. The Ferrous segment includes the Mayoko iron ore project in the Republic of Congo and its interests in Sishen Iron Ore Company Proprietary Limited (SIOC), as well as the FerroAlloys and Alloystream operations. The TiO2 and Alkali chemicals segment includes the Company's interests in Tronox Limited, Tronox KZN Sands Proprietary Limited, Tronox Mineral Sands Proprietary Limited and Tronox Sands Limited Liability Partnership. The Other segment includes its interests in Cennergi Proprietary Limited, Black Mountain Proprietary Limited and Chifeng Kumba Hongye Corporation Limited.
