Lithuania Inflation Rate Rises to 3.7% in June

Lithuania’s annual inflation rate rose to 3.7% in June 2025, from a five-month low of 3.4% in the previous month.
The increase was mainly driven by higher costs of food and non-alcoholic beverages (5.1% vs 4.4% in May), communications (2.2% vs 1.7%), and recreation and culture (5.1% vs 3.9%).
Additionally, prices declined at a slower rate for clothing and footwear (-1.4% vs -2%).
In contrast, inflation moderated for alcoholic beverages and tobacco (7.7% vs 8%), housing and utilities (1.6% vs 2.5%), and miscellaneous goods & services (2.3% vs 3.9%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices went up by 0.3% in June, rebounding from a 0.3% fall in the preceding period.
