Lithuania’s annual inflation rate rose to 3.8% in July 2025 from a 3.7% growth in the previous month.

The slight increase was mainly driven by higher costs of food and non-alcoholic beverages (5.5% vs 5.1% in June), communications (3.1% vs 2.2%), recreation and culture (5.5% vs 5.1%), restaurants and hotels (6.9% vs 6.6%), and miscellaneous goods and services (3.3% vs 2.3%).

Additionally, prices declined at a slower pace for clothing and footwear (-1.0 vs -1.4%).

In contrast, inflation moderated for alcoholic beverages and tobacco (7.3% vs 7.7%), and housing and utilities (1.0% vs 1.6%).

On a monthly basis, consumer prices stalled in July, following a 0.3% increase in the previous month.
