Lithuania Producer Prices Drop at Slower Pace

Producer prices in Lithuania fell by 3.0% year-on-year in May 2025, easing from an upwardly revised 3.7% drop in the previous month.
This marked the fifth consecutive month of falling producer prices, as deflation continued for manufacturing (-3.5% vs -4.3% in April).
Meanwhile, price growth edged higher for mining and quarrying (0.4% vs 0.3%), while costs rose for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (0.4%) and water supply; sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (2.9%) after both showed no growth in April.
On a monthly basis, producer prices went down by 0.7%, following an upwardly revised 2.1% decrease in the preceding period.
