Taiwan Forex Reserves Fall in August

Taiwan’s foreign exchange reserves decreased to USD 597.43 billion in August 2025, from USD 597.87 billion in the previous month.
The decline was influenced by returns from foreign exchange reserves management and exchange rate movements of other reserve currencies against the USD.
For comparison, reserves stood at USD 579.06 billion in August 2024.
