Transcontinental Realty Investors, Inc. is an externally advised and managed real estate investment company that owns a diverse portfolio of income-producing properties and land held for development throughout the Southern United States. The Company operates through two segments: the acquisition, development, ownership and management of multifamily properties, and the acquisition, development, ownership and management of commercial properties, which are primarily office properties. The services for its multifamily segment include rental of apartments and other tenant services, including parking and storage space rental. Its portfolio of income-producing properties includes residential apartment communities, office buildings and other commercial properties. The Company also invests in mortgage notes receivable and in land.
