Exports in El Salvador increased 11.7% year-on-year in July 2025, to $641.7 million. Export growth was driven by a 13.2% increase in non-traditional goods, while traditional goods fell 6.5%. El Salvador Exports
El Salvador exports mainly manufactured products such as textiles (35 percent of total exports), agricultural products (14 percent) and plastics (9 percent). The country is also a traditional exporter of sugar and coffee. The main export partner is the United States with 39 percent of total sales, followed by Guatemala and Honduras (17 percent each). Others include: Nicaragua, Mexico and Costa Rica.
