Finland recorded a current account surplus of EUR 1,231 million in June 2025, narrowing from EUR 1,573 billion in the corresponding month of the previous year.

The decline was primarily driven by a decrease in the goods account surplus, which fell to EUR 1,196 million from EUR 1,558 million a year earlier.

Additionally, the services account deficit widened to EUR 651 million from EUR 393 million, as well as the secondary income shortfall to EUR 220 million from EUR 174 million.

On the other hand, the primary income surplus expanded to EUR 906 million from EUR 582 million in the same month a year ago.
