Poland’s corporate employment fell by 0.8% year-on-year in February 2026, bringing total employment to 6.39 million, in line with market expectations and unchanged from the previous month. This marked the 29th consecutive month of decline in corporate employment, driven by job losses in the mining and quarrying sector (-3.6% vs. -3.4%) and construction (-0.2% vs. -0.1%). On a monthly basis, employment was unchanged, following a 0.2% decline in January.
