Ivory Coast Industrial Production at 4.30 percent  
Industrial output in Ivory Coast rose 4.3 percent year-on-year in September of 2016 following a 13.5 growth in the previous month. Production increased mainly in mining and quarrying (+15.3 percent), wood and furniture (+10.1 percent), food and tobacco (+1 percent) and electricity (17.3 percent) while decreases were seen for petroleum, chemicals, rubber and plastics (-15 percent) and for textiles (-29.2 percent). On a monthly basis, industrial production declined 1.4 percent but rose 8.7 percent in the first nine months of this year.
