Angola’s annual inflation rate eased further, falling to 16.56% in November 2025, the lowest since September 2023, continuing the gradual decline seen since August 2024, helped by a stable kwanza. There were milder price pressures across the CPI categories, including food and non-alcoholic beverages (16.87% vs 17.76% in October); alcoholic beverages & tobacco (16.33% vs 17.93%); clothing & footwear (15.69% vs 16.97%); transportation (19.80% vs 20.39%); health (18.97% vs 20.86%); miscellaneous goods & services (17.83% vs 19.06%), among others. On the other hand, prices rose faster for housing & utilities (17.23% vs 16.52%) and communications (4.60% vs 3.98%). On a monthly basis, the CPI rose by 0.85%, after a 0.93% increase in the prior month.

This is mainly attributed to the ongoing stability of the kwanza.
