Wholesale prices in Angola went up 1.24 percent month-over-month in February of 2017 compared to a 1.2 percent gain in the previous month. Cost increased slightly more for imported goods (1.22 percent compared to 1.18 percent in January) and domestic goods (+1.29 percent from +1.3 percent), mainly for agricultural products. On an annual basis, wholesale prices rose by 28.82 percent, easing from 29.94 percent in the previous period. Producer Prices in Angola averaged 112.31 Index points from 2014 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 148.63 Index points in February of 2017 and a record low of 94.82 Index points in January of 2014.
