The number of tourist arrivals in Montenegro rose by 3.4% year-on-year to 41,317 in February 2026, rebounding from a 7.2% drop in the previous month. This marked the highest number of arrivals since November last year, with the largest tourists coming from Europe (77.6% of total arrivals), particularly in Serbia (22.1%), Albania (15.4%), and Bosnia and Herzegovina (7.2%). Outside Europe, key markets included China (including Hong Kong) (13.3%), Israel (2.8%), and USA (1.8%). Foreign tourists accounted for the majority of overnight stays in collective accommodation, representing 71.7% of all nights, while domestic tourists made up 28.3%.
