Exports from Portugal rose 19.6 percent year-on-year to €4.40 billion in January 2017, due to higher sales of fuels and lubricants (59.7 percent), transport equipment and parts (25.1 percent) and industrial supplies (15.9 percent). Among trading partners, exports rose mainly to Spain (25.6 percent), Germany (52.6 percent) and France (26.5 percent), but fell to Italy (-2.4 percent). Exports in Portugal averaged 1074.47 EUR Million from 1950 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 4696.48 EUR Million in July of 2015 and a record low of 1.69 EUR Million in January of 1950.
