It is the lowest annual inflation rate since October of 2009. Additional downward pressures came from cost of fuel, lubricants, food and non-alcoholic beverages.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.9 percent in July, following a 0.5 percent decrease in June.

The EU-harmonized consumer prices are expected to fall 0.3 percent year-on-year in June and 1.5 percent month-over-month.
