Although it is the fourth consecutive month of negative inflation rate, consumer prices fell at a slower pace in October, due to a rise in cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages.
On a monthly basis, the inflation rate accelerated to 0.5 percent from 0.4 percent in the previous month.
The EU-harmonized index is expected to fall 0.2 percent year-on-year and rise 0.1 percent month-over-month in October.
