The number of unemployed people was recorded at 3.66 million in August, marginally down from 3.7 million in July. A year earlier, there were 3.96 million unemployed people.
840 thousand people were officially registered as unemployed in July, 10,000 less than in the previous month and 90 thousand less than in August 2013.
Nominal wages increased 9.1 percent year-on-year in August, following a 9.4 percent increase in July while real wages rose 1.4 percent. Real disposable income increased 3.9 percent in August, following a 2.5 percent rise in the previous month.
